Terah DeJong is an international sustainability consultant with Tetra Tech and currently serves as the Property Rights and Artisanal Diamond Development (PRADD II) Project Country Director in Côte d’Ivoire. He has 10+ years of professional and personal experience in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. His areas of interest and expertise include artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM), conflict minerals, sustainable supply chains, land tenure policy and reform, forest and biodiversity conservation, community-based natural resource management, smallholder farming, payment for ecosystem services (including biodiversity offsets, voluntary and compliance carbon markets, and REDD+), sustainable local benefits in extractive industries and plantation agriculture (especially palm oil), and sustainability standards and certifications.
