The Ongoing Legal and Regulatory Assistance (Angola Phase III) project provided parallel input into (1) continued legal assistance to implementing regulation for the new land law; (2) a land-related conflict management and mitigation capacity-building component designed to prevent/address conflict arising from land reform efforts in two pilot areas in the country; and (3) assessment of the opportunities for moving newly acquired land rights into enterprise development models that can be replicated in other parts of the country.
